This license is not (only) a joke. The goal of this license is to share art in friendliness and fun. Remember. You gotta share! You gotta care!
In the following rules is called "art's author" the person who own the right on the licensed art and "you" the people who want to use it.
For using this licence, both art's authors and you have to read and make a Pinkie Pie Swear to respect these rules:
1. You have to credit the author. With a link or a name. And respect all condition of the creative common "CC-BY" license. ( [link] )
2. In the respect of other rules, you can make whatever you wan

Hey, uhm, no offense, but the point of the "BY" attribute is not that you have to give credit in every case. You have to give credit as specified, so if somebody submits a deviation and states that you don't need to credit him, you don't have to. (I know many people who do this.)
Other than that, nice project, and thanks for encouraging people to use the CC licenses.

If the credit isn't needed, that's not really a CC-BY but more a CC-0. The "BY" suggest a certain form of credit. (link, name pseudo, as the author wants)
Moreover in some countries like France (where I live), you can't give up moral rights. So people have to credit you in any cases. This plz was designed for myself first and in the view of the "BY" concept and not at all the "0". (Even if my work is sometime used without credit and that I don't mind at all. They're just out of the license...)
